The Downtown Days Festival is Friday through Sunday in downtown Lee’s Summit. There will be a talent show, live music, science demonstrations, a beer tent and lots to eat (KC Kona Ice, The Filling Station) and drink (Keck’s Longhorn Root Beer).
Cobbler Night is back at Dolce Bakery (3930 W. 69th Terrace, Prairie Village, Kansas) from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday night. It’s cobbler (a gluten-free choice will be available) and a scoop of Glacé ice cream.

Wine slushie season has returned. KC Wineworks (1829 McGee St.) is open from 5 to 10 p.m. for First Friday. Check out its wine (and wine slushies), along with Melt Box ice cream and books from author Pete Dulin.
Festa Italiana is Friday through Sunday at Zona Rosa (8640 N. Dixson Ave.). Grab a brew at the beer garden, bear witness to the cannoli eating contest (12 p.m. Saturday), or check out the live music. The outdoor festival, put on by the Kansas City Chapter of UNICO, also features an Italian car show and plenty of Italian eats.
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium (101 E. 13th St.) is celebrating its 10th anniversary Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. They’ll be tapping 20 kegs to celebrate, but don’t panic, you can get a small sample tour rather than try to tackle that mountain a pint at a time.

Old Shawnee Days is in full swing through Sunday. The festival at Shawnee Town 1929 (11501 W. 57th St., Shawnee, Kansas) has a parade (Saturday), a carnival (Thursday through Saturday), and craft, food (fudge, churros, kettle corn) and drink vendors (root beer, slushies).
Sensible people understand that pub crawls should start during the day. The Strawberry Hill Pub Crawl runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It includes eight bars (403 Club, Chicago’s, among them) in Kansas City, Kansas. End your day at Breit’s with a Reuben from behind the bar.

Prefer your wine chilled to icy? Rosé All Day is Sunday between 4 and 8 p.m. in the Power & Light District (between Baltimore and Grand and 12th St. and Truman Road). The outdoor sip and stroll includes rosé samples and small bites (lobster mac and cheese, pimento cheese dip).
Farming is not a casual choice. Learn what it takes to run an urban farm and take a tour of Antioch Urban Growers (2727 NE 44th St.) from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The event is being organized by the Kansas City Food Circle.
