Warriors’ Best Friend
Founded in 2013, Warriors’ Best Friend trains carefully vetted rescue dogs to become official service dogs for wounded soldiers who have returned from combat. The goal is to provide emotional and physical support to those who may have post-traumatic stress disorder or other service-related illnesses. In its six years, Warriors’ Best Friend has successfully trained 22 dogs serving their soldiers in the Liberty, Missouri, area.
