WeekEnder Movie and Concert Series Begins Friday at Crown Center

Crown Center kicks off its WeekEnder series this Friday and will once again be showing outdoor movies after skipping that part of the program last summer due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The free, family-friendly outdoor entertainment series will feature a movie, live music, food and beverages each Friday evening in July starting at 6 p.m. It’s being billed as a “great way to wrap up the work week” in a press release.
Crown Center’s Burnt End BBQ will have a food and beverage tent, including adult drinks, on the plaza and there also will be several other food trucks each week. The movies generally start at about 9 p.m.
Those attending can bring a blanket and lawn chairs and there will be free parking after 6 p.m. in the Crown Center garages. Pets are not allowed and alcoholic beverages can’t be brought in.
This year’s movie and band lineup:
–July 9: The Greatest Showman (sing-along version) and The Suburbans.
–July 16: Rudy and County Road 5.
–July 23: Spider-Man: Far From Home and The Zeroes.
–July 30: The Princess Bride and The Accidental Moguls.
