Can you believe it? Boulevard’s famous Tank 7 farmhouse ale turns 10 this month, and because of that, Kansas City is celebrating. Bier Station is hosting a Tank 7 birthday party on July, 7. Bier Station is also making a special Tank 7 beer cocktail called The Lion’s Tank.
Can’t make it to Bier Station on Sunday? Don’t worry, there will be a few more Tank 7 birthday celebrations throughout the month of July. As one of Kansas City’s favorite beers, this one won’t be under-celebrated. Happy birthday, Tank 7! You delicious farmhouse ale, you.

Double Shift Brewing Company is tapping Background Radiation Brett IPA (6.7%), a fragrant blend of pineapple, orange, and funky farmhouse flavors from the blend of brettanomyces and saison yeasts.
Slacktivist Saison is back at Casual Animal Brewing Company.
Crane Brewing Company is serving Peach Milkshake (7%), a New England-style IPA brewed with peaches, vanilla, and lactose for a creamy, delicious, not-too-sweet IPA.
Let’s Get Weird (7%) with Border Brewing Company as they welcome back this New England IPA with soursop fruit for a tangy experience.
Boulevard Brewing Company is currently pouring a refreshingly sweet TEST — Citrus Blonde Ale (4.4%) made with lemon, lime, and orange peels, at Boulevard Beer Hall.

Free State Brewing Company’s Garden Party Lager is back, and they are celebrating by hosting an ice cream social from 4 to 6 p.m. With a purchase of the beer, you will receive a scoop of Garden Party ice cream infused with Garden Party beer. Get there before it runs out!

Howl at the Moon Kansas City in Power & Light is hosting a Red, White & Brew Party beginning at 7 p.m. Come wearing red, white & blue for free admission and dance and drink beer into Independence Day!
Thursday, July 4:
Enjoy a great view of the KC RiverFest fireworks from Big Rip Brewing Company’s parking lot! The party starts at 4 p.m. with a $2 entry. Whiskey Mash Band starts at 5:30 p.m.There will be BBQ from Hawg Jaw Que & Brew. And after the show, what better for the occasion than a viewing of “The Sandlot?”
Friday, July 5:
Tapcade invites you to attend or participate in the Kansas City International Hot Dog Eating World Championship. Yes, you heard that right. The event is from 8 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 with 100% of the proceeds going to local food charity, Harvesters. Contestants will compete to see how many hot dogs they can eat in three minutes.
Saturday, July 6:
Trezo Mare Restaurant in Briarcliff hosts a planes & patio beer garden. From 1:30 to 4 p.m. enjoy a beer garden and a straight view of the sky while aircraft fly by! Tickets for the patio are sold out, but there are still standing tables just outside of the patio gate with access to the beer garden.
Sunday, July 7:
What better to celebrate than Tank 7? Where better to celebrate than Bier Station? For Tank 7’s 10th birthday, Bier Station will have Tank 7 Specials, an exclusive Tank 7 beer cocktail, a Tank 7 beer cheese burger, and a birthday cake of course!
