Tap List | Resolving to Drink More Beer in 2020

January 7, 2020  |    |  3 min read

The holidays are over and for many of us this means putting away holiday decorations, bidding farewell to family and friends and returning to a regular work schedule. Here at Flatland, we have the perfect cure for your post-holiday blues. What could it be, you ask? Well, here’s a hint. It begins with the letter “b” and rhymes with cheer. It’s BEER!

Tap Notes

Wichita Brewing Company’s Mad Scientist No. 3 is an imperial brown with coconut (8.5% ABV, 22 IBU). This brown ale is loaded with coconut and caramel on the front end, followed by oatmeal on the finish.

Salt City Brewing Company’s IPA is about as solid as they come at 7% ABV (62 IBU). This bright, citrusy beer has balanced hoppy notes on the front end with hints of wheat on the finish. Believe me when I say that this is a must-have beer for those not-so-wintery days in Kansas City.

Public House Brewing Co.’s Frisco Amber Lager clocks in at 5% ABV (44 IBU). This is a delicious malty brew with hints of walnut and grapefruit.

Boulevard Brewing Co.’s Brandy Land Spiced Imperial Stout aged in apple brandy barrels is a limited release brew clocking in at 12.4% ABV (32 IBU). This very complex stout has notes of green apple and caramel on the front end with notes of chocolate, cherry and espresso on the finish.
