Tap List | KC Beers Bring Home Three Medals in Great American Beer Festival

The beer scene in Kansas City has adjusted to what may be a new normal.

Curbside beer orders and outdoor concerts have replaced packed, indoor beer garden hangouts. Virtual beer tastings have replaced onsite beer tastings and food pairings. Building a massive beer pyramid with cans just isn’t the same without twenty maskless strangers egging you on.

Amid all the changes, however, here’s some good news to toast.

KC Bier Co. — 310 W 79th St, Kansas City, Missouri — continues to make a name for itself for its unwavering commitment to German beer, a commitment that was recently recognized on a national stage.

KC Bier won two medals at the 34th Annual Great American Beer Festival, the world’s largest beer competition! Hefeweizen (5.2% ABV, 13 IBU), a Bavarian-style wheat ale, won a silver medal. And Pils (4.8% ABV, 35 IBU), a pilsner-style lager, took bronze.

Boulevard Brewing Co., meanwhile, brought home a gold medal for Tank 7 in American-Belgium style ale category.

Prost!
