Kansas City Chiefs fans are stocking up their beer refrigerators and making room in their bellies for this Sunday’s Super Bowl.
With Patrick Mahomes at the helm, the Chiefs are sailing down to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which means I have to try my best to avoid nautical references in the rest of this week’s Tap List.
Shiver me timbers!
Okay, I’m done.
But seriously, this is a big deal for the Kansas City beer scene. Why? Because if the Chiefs win this weekend, then there will almost certainly be fireworks, and beer pairs very nicely with fireworks.
If you’re looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday, then head over to Border Brewing Co. — 406 E. 18th St., Kansas City, Missouri — at 5:30 p.m. and enjoy some delicious beer as the Chiefs play for the Vince Lombardi trophy!
