Young Students Talk About School in a Pandemic

When we think about education during this pandemic, oftentimes folks think about the teachers who have had to relearn their instruction methods or the parents juggling work and their children’s online classes.
But what about the students? Flatland wanted to hear from them.
With their parents’ permission, children ranging from 5-years-old to 12-years-old gave us an inside look at what changed when school changed for them. Each child represents different ways in which Kansas City area districts are handling school during COVID-19. Online. Hybrid. One student with an Individualized Education Program.
