What Moves You Forward? | Rosanne and Clarissa

December 13, 2018  |  Craig Smith  |  1 min read

Rosanne is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor and she, like many of her friends who share that background, have the motto of continuing to move forward. Clarissa, a special education teacher, finds her reason to move forward in the small successes of her students.

Flatland spoke to audience members at the TEDxKCWomen event on Dec. 1 at the Music Hall in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. We asked them what moves them forward, in keeping with the theme of the women-focused event. Don’t miss the two one-hour episodes that premiere Dec. 17 beginning at 8 p.m. on KCPT.

Every Tuesday and Thursday through Spring of 2019, Flatland will share stories of Kansas City’s neighbors. Find them online here and on Flatland’s Youtube page — and don’t forget to subscribe.

Reading these stories is free, but telling them is not. Start your monthly gift now to support Flatland’s community-focused reporting.
