Pipeline Inc. awarded Paul Jarret, co-founder of Bulu Box, its 2013 Innovator of the Year award Thursday, Jan. 23, at The Midland.
Bulu Box is a subscription service for health, nutrition and weight loss products. According to the company’s website, subscribers are sent monthly sample boxes of a variety of vitamins, protein supplements, fitness DVDs, digestion aids and more. It has been featured in magazines like Lucky, Glamour and Men’s Fitness and in The Wall Street Journal.
Jarrett was selected from 13 Pipeline Fellows, a group of entrepreneurs who pitched their products and companies to a panel at Union Station. According to the Pipeline website, the fellows participated in a business development leadership program over the last year. Previous winners include Ben Vu of SkyVu Entertainment and Kyle Johnson of AudioAnywhere.
