Green Works
Since being founded in 2007, Green Works has grown into a program that empowers Kansas City’s future leaders to care and contribute to a healthier environment around them. It has provided more than 15,000 internships, planted more than 4,000 native shrubs in Kansas City, Missouri, and serves 150 students a year.
Fun fact: Green Works is also a past KCPT American Graduate Champion focusing on the improvement of the environment for the future.
