Pastor Cassandra Wainright has pursued a life of service. Her path started in the church.
“The seed for service actually came from my affiliation with our church,” Wainright says. “My mother raised us up in church… So, that sense of servanthood actually came out of my church.”
Early in life, Wainright wanted to be a teacher. Eventually, her “evangelistic spirit” drew her into ministry. She ultimately became the first female president of the Concerned Clergy Coalition of Kansas City.
