Laugh first, loudest with KC Laughs Back
September 14, 2015 | | 1 min read
Filmed before a live audience at Kansas City Irish Fest, Kansas City Laughs Back is a pilot from KCPT for a comedy panel show that turns the news of the day into comic relief. Kansas City-based host Hampton Stevens brings together two homegrown and a few far-flung comedians into the arena where no topic is too sacred to get skewered, from the evergreen optimism of Midwesterners to political coups in the form of email.
Listen in and have a laugh on us. And if you want to hear more — or know some more funny people to populate the panel — let us know. Comment, send Producer Carla McCabe a note at cmccabe@kcpt.org, find us on Facebook or @FlatlandKC.
Note: While not explicit, the content is mature.
