KC Performs | A Sneak Peek at KC Rep’s ‘A Christmas Carol’
December 17, 2020 | | 1 min read
The holiday season doesn’t seem complete without the Kansas City Repertory Theatre’s annual production of “A Christmas Carol.”
The truism that the show must go on resonates even more deeply during a pandemic that has darkened the city’s stages. That is why Kansas City PBS is proud to share its broadcast stage to air an abbreviated version of KC Rep’s production of “A Christmas Carol,” helping to extend a treasured 40-year holiday tradition in this community.
This is one of many local arts programs featured as part of “KC Performs,” a new KCPBS show designed to offer a televised stage in lieu of in-person performances. You can tune in to KCPBS tonight at 7 p.m. to watch KC Rep’s reimagined, fireside performance of “A Christmas Carol.”
In the meantime, you can watch the attached video for a sneak peek.
