Channel your inner Eleven this weekend and eat…all…the…waffles. Hammerhand Coffee (22 North Main St., Liberty, Missouri) is hosting a Pop-Up Waffle Shop with The Waffle Iron from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. We’re talking sweet and savory options.

The Ainsworth (11653 Ash St., Leawood, Kansas) opens today in the Park Place development. The claim to fame for The Ainsworth is a Mac & Cheese Burger — a smash-up of macaroni and cheese and a beef patty on a sesame seed bun. It’s a fork-and-knifer without question. This is the sixth location for The Ainsworth, which has three spots in New York City and a pair in New Jersey.

Betty Rae’s (7140 Wornall Road), the ice cream shop that will make you everything from boozy shakes to ice cream pies, returns from winter break on Friday. It’s closed Mondays and Tuesdays, but open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
