The federal government’s latest economic development gambit to support economically distressed areas has had, at best, mixed results so far in the Kansas City area. But could recent events conspire to make Opportunity Zones at least part of the solution to our many economic and social challenges?

Tune into KCPT tonight at 7:30 p.m. for the premiere of “Into The Zone,” our 30-minute documentary on the progress and promise of Opportunity Zones.
