December 3, 2019 | | 3 min read
Thanksgiving is over, which means it’s time to stuff our work refrigerators with Thanksgiving leftovers, and make room in our bellies for more holiday goodness. Very soon, we’ll load up on eggnog, brisket, holiday pastries and, best of all, beer!

If you want to impress your friends with your extensive knowledge of local brew, then be sure to pick up KC Bier Co.’s Dunkelbock Limited Edition, which is set to release Tuesday, Dec. 3, exclusively at KC Bier Co.’s Bierhalle. This award-winning brew is sure to make a splash at your next holiday party, so grab a bottle before they’re gone!
Tap Notes
The Crane Brewing 2018 Small Ball Saison (ABV 5.2%) is a “dry hopped, Belgian-style ale, bottle conditioned with brettanomyces.” It’s a honey-colored saison with strong floral happiness on the front end, with notes of lavender on the finish.
The 4 Hands Brewing Co.’s War Hammer Imperial IPA is a smash hit. This IPA clocks in at about 9% ABV and 83 IBU, and has strong hints of grapefruit, hops and a tinge of honey.
Wichita Brewing Company’s Mad Scientist (8% ABV, 77 IBU) is a Double IPA brewed with peach. This delicious double IPA has hints of bubblegum, peach and hops.
Martin City Brewing Company’s Revenge of the Dragon Nitro Stout is a chocolatey, milky stout clocking in at 5.1% ABV and 35 IBU. This drinkable brew would pair perfectly with a medium-rare KC Strip, which is exactly how I had it!
