Downtown Treat: Free Scoop of Ice Cream to Serve a Good Cause

August 7, 2017  |    |  1 min read

Here’s a sweet downtown challenge.

Denali Flavors will donate $10,000 to the Salvation Army of Kansas City if it can attract enough ice cream lovers to the Power & Light District to eat 10,000 free scoops of its Hiland Moose Tracks Ice Cream between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday).

All you have to do is show up and eat a scoop of ice cream to help a good cause. To find your free scoop, enter the Power & Light District Live Block from its Walnut street entrance.

The only catch, you can only have one.

Visit 10,000 Scoops Challenge event page for more information.
