The curiousKC team took a much-needed mental health break for Memorial Day but are back again with a couple of announcements.
First up, the winner of the May 2021 voting round. After receiving more than 100 votes this month, our winning question is:
“Before our new street cars, we had another streetcar transit system. Urban myth is these old street cars are still in KC. Is this true, and can we visit them?”
Suffice to say our team is working to answer this question so stay tuned for updates on Flatland’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts. If you’re an expert in this arena, please reach out to community reporter Vicky Diaz-Camacho by email: vdiaz-camacho@kansascitypbs.org or on Twitter @vickyd_c.
Second, we wanted to point you in the direction of several topic-specific curiousKC question forms. If you care about education or maybe the arts, you can write your question there and it could become part of the next voting round! Click on the topics below to send us a question:
Finally, here is this month’s new voting round. Which question will you pick? You have until July 2.
