curiousKC | Submit A Community Letter to KC’s Health Care Workers

Introducing: Community Letters.

At heart, community voices make a positive difference, especially in difficult times. But they need to be heard.

While Flatland’s engagement journalism initiative, curiousKC, typically collects questions or concerns from the public, we thought it can also give you a platform to tell your own story.

Feel free to express your thanks or share your most memorable stories of Kansas City health care workers who helped you and changed your life. We see this as an opportunity to acknowledge the folks who’ve been in the trenches of the COVID-19 pandemic the past two-plus years, many of whom would appreciate a virtual pat on the back.

Click here or write your letter below.

What to expect after you submit: Our team will compile your stories, follow up if we need more information and to check if you’d like to send supporting media such as photos or videos. Each story will be lightly edited for clarity and include your name unless you select “keep me anonymous.”

Vicky Diaz-Camacho covers community affairs for Kansas City PBS.
