Followers of curiousKC recently voted in big numbers to learn more about Kansas City restaurants that emphasize local food. It’s a great topic for the Thanksgiving week feast fest.
The most popular question in our most recent voting round was: “How many natural food restaurants are there in Kansas City? What local food and wine are they serving, and from where?”
To simplify the discussion, we stuck with restaurants in Kansas City proper that include multiple menu items with local food, wine and beer. Admittedly, we will miss a few, but we wanted to highlight the ones really leaning into local ingredients.
In the attached video, we will focus on eight that are trying to incorporate local ingredients as much as possible.
