Flatland’s Story On Latinx Murals Published On PBS Newshour’s ‘Arts Hub’

Flatland recently published a story on the visibility of Latinx art in the Kansas City area’s public spaces. The story, prompted by a curiousKC question submitted by an area artist who longed to feel represented, has now gone national on PBS Newshour’s art platform, Canvas.
Canvas – described as a public media arts hub – curates community-focused art, music and culture stories from PBS stations across the U.S. So far it has 27 partners, and now Kansas City PBS is one of them. Look for more Kansas City PBS and Flatland stories on the platform.
