Artists in Residence: Jenny Hahn

April 14, 2020  |    |  1 min read

Flatland’s new video series, “Artists in Residence,” checks in with Kansas City artist and workshop facilitator Jenny Hahn for a sometimes philosophical discussion of the creative process during a pandemic.

Hahn’s art is nothing if not vivid. “I love color,” she declares more than once during the conversation. That much remains, she says, even as we chart a new path during a particularly dark moment.

“I’m using art and writing to really just support my own well-being and to express my feelings during this time,” Hahn says. “I’m using it more for process. Then, if I feel something would serve, I share it with others.”
