Art House Extra: Feeling Lonely? Same.

June 5, 2020  |    |  1 min read

We live in a moment shaped by pandemic, economic calamity, protests against injustice, social distancing and now even curfews.

If you’re feeling isolated, you’re not alone.

Here at Flatland we value empathy. We strive for perspective. And those instincts helped shape this week’s Art House Extra: Five movies about isolation.

We don’t offer these films to belittle our shared plights in this fraught moment. Rather, we view them as gentle reminders that we aren’t as alone as we might be, and that it’s easier to connect with each other than we might think.

For more, click on the attached video. And let us know what movies we missed.

Reading these stories is free, but telling them is not. Start your monthly gift now to support Flatland’s community-focused reporting.
