Are You Ready for Some Football?

A recent court settlement between the National Football League and 4,500 retired players has done little to illuminate whether or not the NFL has tried to cover up the link between professional football and traumatic brain injury. This fall, FRONTLINE investigates the NFL and the long-term brain injuries affecting many of its players.

A press release from FRONTLINE said, “Premiering Oct. 8 at 9 P.M. on FRONTLINE, League of Denial: The NFL’s Concussion Crisis investigates how, for years, the league worked to refute scientific evidence that the violent collisions at the heart of the game are linked to an alarming incidence of early-onset dementia, brain damage and other devastating consequences, even death.”
